I have extensive experience in creating digital content for websites and social media, and in writing, acting and modeling.

Writing Experience:

As a production editor with Meld Magazine, I was trained in sub-editing, SEO, Wordpress and Mailchimp. As a journalist, I have reported political news, technology updates and entertainment articles. I write travel pieces for Barcode Magazine, a new Singapore publication by Indochine Media that will be launching in January. I am also a contributing blogger with Really Melbourne, a city guide website. As an intern with CLEO Singapore, I published an article and secured vox pops.

Acting Experience:

With over 7 years of experience in theatre and film in Singapore, I was most notably the face of a KFC Commercial that aired on Singapore channels. I worked on feature film Ah Boys To Men 1 (by top Singaporean director Jack Neo) and TV series Serangoon Road (by HBO Asia and Australian Broadcasting Corporation). The combined experience was truly a blessing as it gave valuable insight as to the professional industry, and allowed me to work alongside award-winning veterans.

I had a small role in the feature film ILO ILO by Anthony Chen, which won the prestigious Palme d’Or Award at Cannes Film Festival 2013.

I have also had the opportunity to appear in TV commercials, feature films, television shows and student productions. The multitude of experiences have led to many opportunities, such as learning ballroom dancing.

Modeling Experience:

I have walked in a fashion and hair show and fronted print advertisement campaigns. I have also done various creative photoshoots. See more in my Gallery.

Education:
I recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master in Global Media Communication. Theory-based learning has provided intellectual stimulation, and I have received H1 (High Distinction equivalent) grades in writing, digital media and communication subjects.

Others:
I am in the student union committee as the Media Officer at UMSU International. In 3 months, I tripled our official Facebook followers to 1500. I was previously an International Student Ambassador with UMSU International, an Orientation Host for Melbourne University and a Mentor for the Student Buddy Program.

I am obsessed with F1, and I love yoga, swimming, cycling and travel.
